NV Energy residential customers who are considering investing in rooftop solar are invited to attend NV Energy’s “Solar for Homeowners” workshop. Representatives of NV Energy’s SolarGenerations program will explain the fundamentals of solar electricity and share valuable consumer awareness tips and resources to help customers make an informed decision when choosing solar.

Topics will include:

• Calculating your home’s energy use.
• Properly sizing a solar system.
• Selecting a solar contractor.
• Understanding different ownership models.
• Evaluating a contractor’s bid or contract.
• What to expect after you have solar.

This free event will take place in Southern Nevada on Monday, November 10 at the Henderson Paseo Verde Library from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and in northern Nevada on Tuesday, November 18 at the Idlewild Park California Building from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
