Corporate to Community Connections, comprised of some of the Silver State’s largest corporations, is sponsoring an event at no cost to small, local and diverse businesses in Northern Nevada to network and cultivate relationships to grow their business.

The free event will be held on Friday, Oct. 4, 8am-1pm, at Harrah’s Reno, 219 North Center Street, Reno, and begins with a networking breakfast.  Registrations must be submitted by September 30 at http://www.cvent.com/d/34q78z

Kicking off the event will be Nevada Assemblywoman Teresa Benitez-Thompson, and the session will feature guest speaker Dr. Angie Taylor, a local community leader and CEO of Excelquest, a training agency.

This is a great networking opportunity for attendees to learn about necessary supplier qualification requirements, personally meet with purchasing and contract agents, strengthen business relationships and learn about upcoming procurement opportunities in the area.
