Customers can now keep NV Energy’s MyAccount tools in their pocket. Today NV Energy launched a new mobile app that makes managing energy use and saving money more convenient than ever.

Through the app, NV Energy customers can quickly access MyAccount to receive their current account summary, view energy usage information, sign up for energy alerts, or handle payments directly through their device. The app also makes it easy to get to NV Energy’s Outage Center, which provides details on an outage location, estimated time of restoration and outage cause. Customers can also report an outage through the Outage Center.

“Customers are increasingly mobile. We intend to do everything we can to provide service wherever and whenever our customers desire. We want all of our customers to experience the benefits of using our MyAccount tools. Our goal is to make features like bill to date, alerts and energy tips easy to find and encourage more people to try them out,” said Pat Egan, Senior Vice President of Customer Operations. “It’s another of the many technology options we offer to create a better relationship with our customers.”

The app is also GPS-enabled, and will allow customers to easily search for nearby payment locations and get directions automatically.

The app can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
