Sierra Pacific Power Company is currently accepting applications from local non-profit agencies to grant funds for weatherization and energy-efficient retrofit projects to help these organizations reduce their operational costs for energy.

To qualify for these grants an agency must be a 501(c)(3) located within the Sierra Pacific Power Company service area (Nevada customers only), and the money must be used to fund energy-efficient retrofits and weatherization projects. A total of $40,000 will be awarded. The grants will range from $500-$5,000. For requests greater than $3,000, a matching agency investment of 30 percent will be required.
