Due to the wet, heavy snowfall, the Mason Valley area, including Yerington, is experiencing widely scattered power outages. Sierra Pacific crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible. The company reminds residents to steer clear of any downed power lines, and asks that they report such incidents to Sierra's Yerington office at 689-3105. Because the outages are small and scattered, utility personnel are depending on Sierra Pacific customers to notify them if they are without power. The utility regrets any inconvenience.
