Sierra Pacific Power Company is moving to a new location in Minden, effective Monday, July 27. The office will be located at 1758 Highway 395, Unit L, near the new movie theater complex and less than a mile north of its old location at 1573 Highway 395.

"The move will enable us to continue providing the Minden-Gardnerville area with excellent service while holding down our costs of doing business," said Pete Caron, manager of operations for the utility's Carson District, which includes the Carson Valley.

The new location will be more convenient for customers because a traffic signal and turning lane at the entrance of the office complex on Highway 395 will make the office easily accessible, Caron said.

Office hours will remain the same, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The telephone number also remains unchanged, 782-2541.
