Nevada Power has learned that a person or persons representing themselves as employees of the Company are calling customers and threatening to disconnect power if a credit card payment is not made over the phone immediately. Nevada PowerDOES NOTcall customers and solicit payments. If customers receive a call asking for a payment, they should refuse and call the Nevada Power Fraud Unit at 227-2359 if they have additional questions.Customers who may be at risk of having their power disconnected because of nonpayment will as always, receive a 48-hour notice via U.S. Mail.Nevada Power does offerseveral convenient wayscustomers can pay their power bill.###
