Nevada Power Company's Diversity Council celebrates Black History Month on Tuesday, February 15. The purpose of Black History Month is to celebrate the culture and legacy of African Americans.

While the audience is enjoying performances from local dancers, singers and a comedian, they will also enjoy a Soul food cooking contest.

Las Vegas City Councilwoman Lynette Bogs McDonald will be in attendance to discuss African American's historic presence with a positive, factual and global perspective.
