Nevada Power requires employees to wear photo identification at all times. Anyone who claims to be a Nevada Power employee will be happy to present their badge and employee number when requested to by a customer.

Anyone with questions about the legitimacy of the person's employment can call Nevada Power's Security Department in Las Vegas at (702) 367-5680 with the representative's employee number for verification.

Occasionally, customers report that persons claiming to be Nevada Power employees attempt to gain access to their homes to obtain money for bill payments or inspect house wiring or heating systems.

Nevada Power field employees are not authorized to receive payment.
