Shoppers at area malls will now be able to buy DISH satellite TV, pre-paid cellular phone, and even lease a computer from Nevada Power Services. The new Nevada based retail company provides products and services to consumers in Southern Nevada.

"As deregulation of the electric industry continues to unfold, Nevada Power Services is offering a variety of products and services to Southern Nevadans," said Steve Boss, president of Sierra Pacific Energy Company. The company also will provide electric service to customers in the deregulated energy market upon licensing approval.

All Nevada Power Services Kiosks are staffed with sales associates to assist customers at the Meadows, Boulevard and Galleria Malls in the Las Vegas Valley and the Horizon Outlet Mall in Laughlin. The first 1,000 customers to buy a product will receive a free pre-paid long distance calling card.

Sierra Pacific Energy Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sierra Pacific Resources. Sierra Pacific Energy Company does business in Southern Nevada under the name of Nevada Power Services. In addition to the consumer products and services, the company also provides energy efficiency consulting, performance contracting, design services, and district cooling projects.
